Job Description SevenTwenty Strategies an award-winning public relations and public affairs firm located in downtown Washington, DC, seeks a full-time Senior Account Director to manage some of its most prestigious client relationships. We work with many Fortune 500 companies and trade associations, as well as non-profit organizations.

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic counselor for our accounts which are assigned to you – conduct regular meetings, conference calls and webinars with clients and provide proactive account leadership
  • Direct the on-time delivery of communications, design, websites, brochures, videos, PPT presentations, annual reports, online and offline advertising campaigns and social media campaigns
  • Interact with and manage client projects with internal teams of creatives, web designers and developers and video production staff to achieve client goals
  • Develop and manage production schedules for client deliverables
  • Troubleshoot production issues and client special needs
  • Oversee client budgets and ensure that projects are completed on-budget and on-time
  • Develop advocacy and PAC communications and public affairs strategies based upon an understanding of client goals
  • Direct social media campaigns and strategies on behalf of client campaigns
  • Develop content for professional advocacy alerts, strategic memos, website and social media content, PPT presentations, email newsletters and other client deliverables
  • Analyze client results and metrics, such as website traffic, online recruitment, direct mail response rates, social media engagement and other results and recommend strategic adjustments to achieve client goals
  • Develop PAC website and communications content (event invitations, PowerPoint presentations, newsletters, thank you notes, solicitation letters/emails and other communications)
  • Organize and manage PAC fundraising campaigns, coordinating with internal staff, and external vendor relationships

Additional requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum four years of direct experience leading client relationships in an agency setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, namely Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience managing websites using content management systems
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize appropriately and work with tight and shifting deadlines
  • Interest in politics, current affairs, political action committees and grassroots advocacy
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with a “can do” attitude
